The Mission Statement of the Spartanburg County Coroner's Office Rusty Clevenger, Coroner The mission of the Spartanburg County Coroner's Office is to provide the citizens of our County the best death investigation available in order to render a cause and manner of death in unattended or suspicious death. We will constantly train and strive to educate ourselves on the latest investigative techniques and implement the result of research and testing to provide families and the justice system with facts pertaining to the decedent's demise. The Spartanburg County Coroner's Office will partner with our community to educate our citizens on measures to prevent and decrease death associated with circumstances within their control. We are committed to rising above normal expectations and strive to be cutting edge in our approach to the service of the citizens of Spartanburg County.
