Reserve Investigator Ken Toney		Reserve Investigator Rick Ellis
Reserve Investigator Ken Toney has been with the Spartanburg County Coroner's Office since 1995. Investigator Toney attended Clemson University and Spartanburg Community College. He was the prior Captain of Rescue 9 and Fireman of the year in 1978. Investigator Toney has a wife of 34 years, 2 children and 6 grandchildren. He is an avid photographer, a Mason, Shriner, Adobe beta tester and the owner of the Flounder here in Spartanburg. Investigator Toney is a member of the South Carolina Law Enforcement Officer's Association and NSFD. He holds numerous certifications in homicide photography, fire death scene, NTSB and International Forensic Photography School.		Reserve Investigator Rick Ellis has just recently joined our team in the Coroner's Office. Investigator Ellis has prior experience which includes over 25 years in Law Enforcement. He has worked as a Uniform Patrol Officer, and was attached to Federal Task Forces involving FBI, DEA and US Marshal Service until retirement. Investigator Ellis is a graduate of Dorman High School and the Criminal Justice Academy and has attended numerous specialized training classes and courses relating to his law enforcement career. He is a member of the South Carolina Law Enforcement Officer's Association, South Carolina Coroner's Association and volunteers for the Retired Officer's of Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office Association.
Reserve Investigator Amber Helms
Investigator Amber Helms has just recently joined the Coroner's office. She is a senior at USC Upstate majoring in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psycology. Investigator Helms was in the United States Army for six years as an X-Ray technician. Investigator Helms is a member of the South Carolina Law Enforcement Association and the South Carolina Coroner's Association.
